ChromixGear

Unleash your signature mix

Brand identity · Web · Instagram grid

Alkeme Design rebranded ChromixGear, a DJ-gear product brand: identity, a website to present the range, and a grid that matches the hardware, keeping the power-O equity while making the range ownable.

The problem

ChromixGear makes customizable DJ gear, but the old mark was a literal rainbow ring, the gradient every tech brand reaches for. It looked generic, it was hard to own, and it never gave the range one thing you recognize on sight, from a single knob to a pouch to a feed.

The concept

We kept the one piece of equity, the power-O, and made electric lime the signature, backed by a tight seven-color palette so every knob colorway still reads as CHROMIX. One confident mark carried across packaging, product, stickers, stories and reels, recognizable in a second.

01

Instagram grid

A full-profile grid where every tile carries the lime-and-wave system, so the feed sells the whole range at a glance.

02

Instagram stories

A story system so the feed reinforces one look, post after post.

03

Reels

A product teaser and a customer moment, cut to put the gear in motion for paid and social.

04

Website

A custom storefront that brings the system to life, from the animated homepage to the shop and product pages.

05

Packaging

Diecut pouches that make a small part feel like a premium drop.

06

Product branding

Knobs, a compatibility system and a sticker set, on-brand from the hardware to the unboxing.

07

Realistic packaging render

A photoreal render of the pouch system, ready for the launch and the storefront.

What we did

Rebrand

An identity you recognize on sight

Not just a new logo, a whole world. Toggle to the old CHROMIX and watch the rainbow mark, the black bag, the loose colored knobs and the empty feed turn into one lime-led system.

FAQ

Questions we get

What does branding for a DJ gear or music product brand include?

For ChromixGear it was a logo system, a full colour identity, product branding on the knobs and fader caps, diecut packaging, an Instagram grid, stories, reels and a custom storefront, so the whole range reads as one brand.

Can you rebrand an existing product brand without losing recognition?

Yes, that was the heart of the ChromixGear project. We kept the one piece of equity worth keeping, the power-O, and rebuilt everything else around an ownable electric-lime system, so the brand moved from a generic rainbow mark to something you recognize on sight, across the logo, product, packaging and feed.

How do you make a small hardware or accessories brand look premium?

One ownable colour, consistent packaging and product photography, and content that puts the gear in motion. ChromixGear went from loose colored knobs and a generic rainbow mark to a single lime-led system you recognize on sight.

Who designs Instagram grids for product brands?

Alkeme Design designs full-profile Instagram grids, like the ChromixGear feed where every tile carries the same system so the whole range sells at a glance.

Can you brand a product and build its online store?

Yes. ChromixGear got the identity, packaging, product branding and a custom shop, built as one system from the knob to the checkout.
